About Our Training

Graeae has an extensive and well-established commitment to providing training opportunities for a wide range of participants; aspiring and established actors with and without physical and sensory impairments.

By doing this, we hope to:

*    develop future audiences

*    inspire prospective and emerging practitioners

*    nurture creative platforms for a wide range of performers

*    empower active participation in the arts by disabled people

Our courses are designed to be fully accessible to all participants and Graeae is currently working with other institutions to inspire practice across the sector.

Our recent successes include:

*    Missing Piece - An accredited 1 year acting training programme, in association with London Met. Graduates have gone on to join the BBC Talent Fund, perform on television, radio, podcasts and on stage. Many graduates have worked for Graeae on our national tours.

*    Continuing Professional Development workshops in Acting for TV & Film, Burlesque, vocal training and others.

*    Masterclasses in accessible rehearsal techniques and the Graeae aesthetic.
