Recruitment – New trustees deadline passed
THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS NOW PASSED
Graeae is a force for change in world-class theatre. Accessibility is at our core; we progressively define, evolve and redefine the ways in which signing, audio description, sound, light and film can enhance the theatrical experience. Having now settled into our new home at Bradbury Studios and enjoyed a string of recent creative successes we are looking for two new trustees to join the team.
We have a particularly exciting year ahead as Jenny Sealey MBE (Artistic Director and Joint CEO) takes on the challenges of the artistic direction of the Paralympic opening ceremony and we reshape the team to embrace this new opportunity. During this period Judith Kilvington (Executive Director and joint CEO) will be running the company.
All potential candidates are welcome and applications are particularly sought from those with skills, knowledge or experience of the education sector, the business sector or IT and new technologies (particularly in relation to developing arts practices). We are keen to hear from individuals who have personal experience of disability, diversity or equality issues.
Training and support will be offered for those who have other relevant skills or knowledge but who may not have had previous experience of being a Trustee. Trustee meetings are held quarterly and trustees also usually sit on sub committees. The overall time commitment is likely to be up to 8 hours per month.
Graeae has a long and proud history as a theatre company and we believe that joining our board would be a rewarding and invigorating experience.
