Acts of Memory in association with Graeae was performed at National Paralympic Day featuring the Mayor Of London’s Liberty Festival 2015 and was supported by Foundation for Future London.

Acts of Memory was a project inspired by the work and legacy of artist Monica Ross. Anniversary – an act of memory was a series of performances reciting, from memory, all 30 Articles from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This started as a solo performance by Monica Ross but over time she invited 60 other people to co-recite articles with her so it became 60 acts of solo, collective and multi-lingual recitations from memory of the entire Declaration.

Now, more than ever, it is vital for Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse voices to be heard. Please share this video far and wide.
